Learning is everywhere. Its happens all the time, wherever you are, whatever you're doing.
Whether you're a child or an adult, every day presents an opportunity to learn and grow. That's why, unlike the decision to sell our house (which took days of talking, researching and deliberating), the decision to home educate our youngest daughter was straightfoward and simple. As parents, we no longer felt the school system in the UK represented the best way for our daughter to learn. We wanted her to learn at her own pace, to play, and stay a child for as long as possible.
Our decision to home educate has certainly sparked lots of conversations between our family and friends. Some are supportive, some are not - but that's OK. We are all individuals and have our own ideas.
